Our Beginning...
In 2001, founder, Kyle Bell and his father/co-founder, David Bell, saw a need to provide a quality service to the public at the most affordable prices. Little did they know at the time that with hard work, dedication, long hours, many sacrifices and with help of family and friends, Fiberglass Specialties would grow to become the number one provider in fiberglass, acrylic, and vinyl repair/refinishing.

Our Present...
In 2021, following the passing of Kyle "David" Bell Sr. — the last of our two founders — the future of Fiberglass Specialties was placed into caring hands. The company was purchased by the stepfather of David Sr.’s grandson, a decision made with one purpose above all others: to keep the business in the family, or as close to it as possible, and to protect everything the Bell family had spent two decades building.
His goal was simple — to honor the legacy Kyle and David created, to preserve the company’s place in the Chattanooga community, and to carry forward the same dedication to honest work and outstanding service that earned Fiberglass Specialties its reputation. A veteran himself, he ensured the company would proudly continue as veteran owned and operated, staying true to the values it was founded upon.
Today, the story continues as he runs the business alongside his own son — a father-and-son team of the next generation, tied to and standing beside the original family. While the founders’ grandson has since gone on to pursue a career of his own, the legacy that Kyle and David began in 2001 lives on: still family-run, still rooted in Chattanooga, and still committed to the quality craftsmanship that started it all.
